This week had the 1st bring the start of the Pheasant season, and with many of us finally getting out in the field in the coming weeks we start to think about our kit. It’s time to brush off your tweeds, re-stock your cartridge bag, polish your boots and prepare your dogs for action.
As the weather takes a turn and the conditions we find ourselves in greatly change, the demands of our footwear choice change to. During the warmer months when we are all out with the dogs or setting off up the moors in the later months for the start of the Grouse season, a shorter boot like the Cervo Rosso or Fagiano may be your choice. Yet with the night’s drawing in and as the temperatures plummet, we are often looking towards something easier wearing and has that added bit of warmth for those cold winter mornings.
