The Rubicon leather country boot is the ultimate hand crafted waterproof but breathable tall country boot. Quite simply luxury personified, with a full luxurious shearling wool lining making it a comfortable option on those cold winter days.
Hand-crafted from the highest quality Italian hydrophobic leather rated at 2.6mm thick. The Rubicon brings traditional country styling, with all the benefits of modern materials, components and manufacturing techniques.
The double stitched, Norwegian welted construction is something rarely seen in the disposable world we live in, resulting in a boot that could quite literally last a lifetime. Known for it’s performance and durability, this construction also allows your outsoles to be fully and easily replaced by any Vibram certified cobbler. A means to give your trusty country boots a new lease of life when the time comes.
Fully fitted with British shearling lambswool down to the toe, these tall country boots will not only to keep you cosy on those chilly days but ensure long lasting comfort when the going get tough. Under the wool lining, a Sympatex H2Out lining ensures full waterproofing while ensuring your foot can still breathe.

Shipping Locations:
Brandecosse Ltd offers free delivery to locations in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man on any order over £100. For all other delivery destinations, carriage will be added as per the location selected at the checkout. We will ship internationally however only offer free delivery for select locations.

Refund Policy
Refunds/Returns/Warranty Claims and Exchanges.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Brandecosse, you may return it to us by completing the Returns Slip enclosed in with your order within 14 days under The Consumer Contracts (information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regs 2013 (Distance Contracts). The 14 days starting the day after the day on which the last of the goods come into the physical possession of the consumer or the person that they ask you to deliver the goods. Returned good must be in an unworn and saleable condition for a refund or exchange. Thus meaning, we cannot refund any boots which have been worn outside. Cost of this return to Brandecosse Ltd will be borne by the customer but we will happily send the correct size replacements without additional carriage charges. Please be careful to return the goods in their original box or packaging and we reserve the right to refuse refunds where goods are not returned in a saleable condition. Thank you for your custom.
Warranty Claims
All our boots come with a 12 month manufacturers warranty, which is in place from the moment your boots are delivered. If for any reason you believe your boots have a manufacturer default, please get in touch with the Brandecosse team. We will then request that your boots are sent back for inspection, which will allow us to make a decision on your warranty claim.
We WILL NOT inspect any boot which are sent back in a dirty condition. Boots should be washed down before sending out. We reserve the right to return any pair of boot which are send back in a dirty condition.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Size Exchange
It can often be hard picking out the right size for you while shopping online. However we have done our best to put the most accurate UK size to our boots, as they are all made on European lasts.
When you receive your boots, put on your usual boot sock and wear your boots around the house. If you think a different size would be best for you, we are always more than happy to swap them out for a better size. Simply get in touch with the Brandecosse team and we will arrange this for you. Once you have returned your boots, we will ship a replacement pair free of charge with DPD.
Boots must be returned in their original packaging and include a filled out returns label which can be downloaded here.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Brandecosse Ltd, The Old Bank, 12 Main Street, St Johns Town of Dalry, Dumfries & Galloway, DG7 3UW.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

These are without any doubt the best boots I will ever own. Normally cost £395, but my partner purchased these for £240. Now don’t mistake my opinion that these are not worth £395, because they are. I and the finances and income could not afford to pay £395. I was very tempted to purchase 2 pairs because of the deal and the quality of these boots, one wool lined and one without. Basically live in them for the rest of my life.
Moving on then… Full length boot that stops about half an inch by the knees. Fully lined with a super soft shearling wool. Perfect fit and true to size. They will stretch a little once broken in.
Originally I searching the Internet for some rubber wellingtons, and by chance I found these. Instead of worrying about cracking of rubber, or sole separation these are fully thick leather and have a very good quality welt. It’s design is much more watertight than Goodyear welted soles. Vibram sole has a very thick tread. For me these are leather Wellingtons, waterproof, tall and durable.
Overall these boots with great care will last me my lifetime. I love everything about these boots.
Worth mentioning Brandecosse also sell a boot care kit. This comes with everything you need to nourish, polish, and maintain the leather.

The robust quality and comfort are so beyond any other boots that I have owned there was no choice but to replace my current fading other brand walking boots with a pair of Fagiano boots. I phoned Brandecosse around lunchtime on the Tuesday to enquire about certain measurements / fitments (I have very a very narrow calf measurement) and spoke to Jane at length. She very kindly went off to measure the boots and phoned me straight back to discuss. I ordered the Rubicon’s then and there and Thursday morning saw them land on my doorstep. By Friday morning I was standing on a peg wearing them, suffice to say that the boots elicited more positive comments than my standard of shooting on that particular morning!
I spend the vast majority of my life wearing boots and have been through all of the big names, along with some of the lesser known, and can say with some authority that the standards of materials and construction are second to none. Couple this with service which is nothing short of exemplary and you have a product / supplier which is as close to perfect as you will find anywhere.
I can say with certainty that when my current stalking boots wear out they will be replaced with a pair from Brandecosse.

As with my initial review on purchase in December I am more than pleased with these boots. Spent the last two weeks of January in Scotland shooting clay and live game – out for the whole day every time – snow, ice and -9 degrees on more than one occasion. I can honestly say my feet were warm and very comfortable throughout and the Vibram sole performed as expected giving me the confidence to tackle any terrain.
Out yesterday in lashing rain, ankle deep in mud and wading through rivers & streams – yes – dry, warm & no slippage under foot.
